Because your order and payment are finalized through Alibaba, all return, refund, and dispute requests will be strictly governed by Alibaba’s official platform policies and executed within your Alibaba buyer account.

1. Price Consistency & Currency

  • Price Match Guarantee: The product prices displayed on https://ddmobilepart.com/ match exactly the base product prices you actually pay at checkout on Alibaba.com. The final cost for the goods is based on the price agreed upon via WhatsApp; https://ddmobilepart.com/ does not charge any additional hidden fees.
  • Refund Amount: Any approved refund will be issued based on the exact USD amount paid on Alibaba.com as recorded in the Trade Assurance contract.
  • Exchange Rates & Taxes: Please note that final checkout amounts on Alibaba may slightly vary due to real-time currency exchange rates, local import taxes, or payment processing fees charged by your bank/Alibaba. Refunds will only cover the product and shipping costs as recorded in the contract.

2. Shipping Terms (Incoterms) & Extra Fee Calculation

The total amount you pay to receive your goods depends heavily on the Incoterm (DAP or DDP) selected during your Alibaba checkout. Please read the breakdown below carefully to calculate any extra costs beyond the product price.

Option A: DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) – “All-Inclusive Prepaid”

  • Definition: Under DDP, the seller handles the entire international logistics process, including export customs clearance, international transit, and import customs clearance + local duties/taxes in your destination country. The goods are delivered directly to your doorstep.
  • Note on Shipping Cost: While the shipping fee displayed on your Alibaba invoice for DDP terms will appear higher than DAP, this is because it already includes all destination import duties, VAT, and customs clearance fees prepaid on your behalf.
  • Extra costs upon arrival: $0. You will NOT be charged any hidden fees or customs duties by the courier or your government upon delivery.

Option B: DAP (Delivered at Place) – “Excludes Destination Taxes”

  • Definition: Under DAP, the seller is responsible for shipping the goods from China to your specified delivery address. However, the buyer is the legal importer of record and is fully responsible for customs clearance and paying all local import costs once the shipment arrives.
  • What you pay on Alibaba: Product Price + International Shipping ONLY.
  • 🧮 How to Calculate Your Extra Costs Under DAP:If your Alibaba contract is marked as DAP, you can estimate your additional expenses before delivery using the formula below:

  1. Import Duty: Calculated as $\text{Order Value} \times \text{Duty Rate}$ (based on your country’s tariff classification/HS Code for the product).
  2. Local VAT/GST: Standard tax on imported goods (e.g., 20% UK VAT, 10% Australia GST). It is calculated as: $(\text{Product Value} + \text{Shipping Cost} + \text{Import Duty}) \times \text{Local VAT Rate}$.
  3. Customs Brokerage / Advancement Fee: Shipping carriers (like DHL, FedEx, or UPS) charge a flat handling fee for advancing the tax payment to the government.
  • DAP Buyer Responsibility Warning: Under DAP, if a package is returned to China, abandoned, or destroyed by customs because the buyer refuses to pay local duties/VAT or fails to provide import documentation, NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED under Alibaba Trade Assurance rules. The buyer absorbs 100% of the loss.

3. How to Request a Return or Refund

If you experience any issues with your order (e.g., damaged items, incorrect products, or missing packages), please follow these steps to initiate a claim:

  1. Log In to Your Alibaba Account: Go to Alibaba.com and log in to the buyer account used to complete your purchase.
  2. Locate Your Order: Go to “My Orders” or “Trade Assurance” and find the specific order number.
  3. Apply for Refund/Return: Click on “Apply for Refund” or “Open a Dispute” within the Alibaba system.
  4. Upload Evidence: Provide clear photos/videos of the product issues and shipping labels to accelerate the official review process.

4. Special Provisions for Bulk, Custom, and Sample Orders

  • Unboxing Video Required for Claims: To protect both parties against transit damage or missing items, we strictly require an unopened, unedited unboxing video from the moment the courier package is opened. Claims for missing items or physical damage without a valid unboxing video may be rejected during the Alibaba dispute review.
  • Customized & OEM Products: Any customized products (including but not limited to custom logos, custom packaging, or bespoke technical specifications) enter production immediately after payment on Alibaba. These items are non-refundable and non-returnable unless a critical functional defect is proven.
  • Sample Orders: Sample orders are intended for quality testing purposes only. We do not accept “change of mind” returns or refunds for sample orders.

5. Order Cancellation & Modifications

  • Cancellation Window: Once an order has been paid on Alibaba but has not yet been shipped, you can request a cancellation directly through Alibaba. If the item has already entered the international logistics process, it cannot be canceled mid-transit and must be processed as a return after delivery.
  • Address Modifications: Once the Trade Assurance contract is paid on Alibaba, the shipping address cannot be manually altered. If you provided an incorrect address, you must request an order cancellation before shipment and re-order with the correct details to ensure Alibaba shipping protection remains valid.

6. Alibaba Trade Assurance Protection Summary

Your purchase is protected under Alibaba’s Trade Assurance policy, which covers:

  • On-Time Shipping Protection: If your order is not shipped by the date agreed in your contract, you are eligible for a refund.
  • Product Quality Protection: If the product quality does not meet the standards agreed upon in your contract, you can open a dispute within the protection window.
